About Me

My name is Rachel Bender, and I am a lifestyle photographer serving the South Georgia area. My mother was a photographer for 20 years, so I have grown up with a love and appreciation for photography.

I acquired my Bachelor of Science degree from Valdosta State University. My degree was in Office Administration and Technology, but I began substitute teaching while in college and fell in love with teaching. I was a substitute teacher for 4 years before teaching my own class in 2017. I became pregnant with my first child in 2018 and went back to substitute teaching, so I could stay home with my baby more.

I began educating myself on all aspects of photography after my first son was born. I so desperately wanted to preserve every detail of my babies as they grew and changed over the years. I think many mamas can relate to that! I decided to turn my love for photography into a business, so I picked up my mom's old equipment and started my journey.

I understand the importance of capturing life's fleeting moments. As a daughter, a wife, and a mother, I know how special it is to have pictures with the people you love. I will do my absolute best to provide a fun and carefree experience for you and your family!
